The challenge
Royal Mail offers discounts if direct mail items meet specific environmental criteria. It's a great way to make direct mail more sustainable - but the necessarily complex, technical details of the criteria meant sales teams were struggling to make the most of the opportunity.

Produced a simple sales tool that Royal Mail's sales force could complete on the phone with customers. By answering simple questions, the customer could see if their mail met the requirements and what discounts they could receive. If their mail didn't meet the requirements, they were given a clear idea of what to do next time.
The results
The simple, clear tool was easy to understand, and colleagues loved it.
