Visual Thinking that makes the complex simple

The challenge

RBS asked home to develop Visual Thinking maps to help them communicate their strategy and objectives. They wanted employees to believe the Group was doing the right things to rebuild itself, as well as understanding the strategy and the results it had already had within the business.

Developed a Group Strategy Map - a broad overview of a complex strategy, which fitted into a single page. It was informative, clear, visually engaging and helped people understand the plan and the future, as well as what had already been achieved.

The results

We created a pdf which was so well received that we were asked to animate it for use on the RBS intranet. Our clients believed the map did such a good job of explaining the strategy that it was then published externally on rbs.com, where it now helps the public, shareholders and customers understand how RBS is putting its house in order and rebuilding for the future.
